I’d like to talk a little bit about the name “ Points to Ponder” The title of our 15 minute visit with you.

Lets look at the word point or points. In the Webster’s New World dictionary, the third College Edition, there are 33 definitions not to mention the sub definitions given for the word “point”.

The ones that concern us are number 16 and 17 these give the definition of “point” as: purpose, aim, object, an impressive or telling argument of fact or idea. The examples they give for these…. “There is no point in complaining” and “he has a point there”.
