I met Mickey in February, 2009 in Western PA at a hearing for a man about an alleged credit card debt. There’s been a lot of learning since then, and I credit Mickey for opening the doors to an aspect of life that I never, ever thought about entering and that was the law and defending myself in court. “Unheard of in this day and age”, or so I thought.
This is my opinion: If you are person with backbone and integrity and willing to work very hard to understand the basics, if you have a teachable spirit and are willing to burn the midnight oil, you will do just fine and if you have enough courage and “quick-wittedness” to get through skirmishes on your feet. Then you certainly can accomplish all that will be before you. And you will find counselors in our midst to help you over the questions and rough spots.
