Points to Ponder - 4/28/09
["Points to Ponder" is heard every Monday at 6:45pm EST at www.therealpublicradio.net.]
Welcome to points to ponder
Sparking thoughts to ignite actions.
I am Dianne Ell, your hostess tonight.
The next 15 minutes is sponsored by the Citizens Reform Center also known as CRC.
I’d like to talk a little bit about the name “ Points to Ponder” The title of our 15 minute visit with you.
Lets look at the word point or points. In the Webster’s New World dictionary, the third College Edition, there are 33 definitions not to mention the sub definitions given for the word “point”.
The ones that concern us are number 16 and 17 these give the definition of “point” as: purpose, aim, object, an impressive or telling argument of fact or idea. The examples they give for these…. “There is no point in complaining” and “he has a point there”.
Let us look at some of these words that they are using to explain and define point. We see in the definition that they use the words purpose, aim and object. And that’s what we would like you to think about this week. What do you see as your purpose? What is the object of that purpose? And how are you aiming to achieve it?
We don’t want you to be overwhelmed so let us think about it in terms of the next hour, the next week, the next month and the next year.
So where do these points tie into CRC? And to you?
Many of us are aware of the corruption, fraud and deceit that has run and is running through our government, banking system and judicial system. There are too many items to list here individually. There are too many items for the individual to choose from, and to focus on…so that they can make a difference. And because of that we find a few scenarios. You get the scenario when a person becomes so overwhelmed that they shut down and say how can one voice make a difference, how can two or three voices make a difference? So they do nothing.
You get the scenario when a person becomes so infuriated over the manipulation being done that they become involved in every cause. They want to take it all on. They join every group they can find and spread themselves too thin to be effective. Missing deadlines and important meetings and dates.
And then you have the group that has found a purpose by taking aim at the object of their dissatisfaction, their anger.
It’s not that they don’t support other causes but they keep their cause, the point of their actions always in front of them so they are not sidetracked, so they do not become ineffectual.
In looking at and doing battle with organizations, banking, government and the courts, that are so large, so ingrained in each other and with so many resources we should look to be coming experts in one area. To be able to consistently win battles in that area. We can then join together.. each drawing on the other’s knowledge to win back our court system, our banking system and our government.
So what is your purpose? Is it to help your family, a local group, your county, your state or the masses?
Now what is the object that you going to focus on? Is it the government — the Senate, the House of Representatives.
Is it the judicial system — those lawyers that bend the rules and laws or those judges that let them?
Is it the banking system — the Federal Reserve and the megabanks?
And how are you going to take aim? Are you studying, are you trying to go it alone, are you joining a group, are you finding a mentor?
All of these come under the one simple word “point” from the Webster dictionary.
We need to find the point of our focus — our purpose and the object we’re taking aim at and then we must concentrate on it and we must share not only our success but also our failures with others. We learn from both. This is the only way that we can achieve the victories we are looking for in the most efficient and timely manner.
Interesting enough the word point only has two meanings in Black’s Law Dictionary the Sixth edition. They tell us that the word “Point” is a distinct proposition or question of law arising or propounded in a case” or it is used in describing numerical values with dollar amounts fixed to it which it lists.
However, if one is to read down a little farther you can find a definition for points of law. This is given as “those distinct propositions of law on which each side relies in a lawsuit and on which the Court bases its decision ..opinion on.”
This coincides with Webster’s “an impressive or telling argument of fact or idea”. In both of these there is a distinct, impressive…argument of fact or idea…the “point”.
The point of law is not much different than what we just talked about for you personally. You need to know your purpose in the case (Do you just want to make it go away or do you want to try and set a precedent?)…..
You know the object, the desired outcome (obviously a win for you).
And you need to take aim with specific proposition or propositions of law or cases that will create your desired outcome.
The Court does not want to hear the whole book of law nor the volumes of cases decided. They want a specific point.
We need to be on specific points so we are not retracing someone else’s work …so we are not wasting time by going over the same territory. At this point in our history time is of the essence.
So as we go through the coming weeks and months we at CRC ask you to ponder what we put before you. To weigh mentally and to think deeply about the points that we present. To consider them carefully and if they fall in the realm of your purpose and aim to remedy the object you have decided upon… then we are fulfilling our purpose ,our aim and our objective of benefiting the people of this country.
You won’t find legalese in these 15 minutes. You’ll find down to earth normal language…concepts that we hope you can take with you as you focus on your point to ponder.
Let me explain where our focus lies. Where the point of our daily journey comes from.
The Citizens Reform Center was founded by Mickey Paoletta, a gentleman who has studied the banking system and the methods it uses in our courts for almost 20 years. In the beginning when he learned of all that was wrong he was involved in many different areas. He came to realize, however, that to be the most effective he would need to focus on a particular point. He chose to learn everything he could about the banking system and the Federal Reserve. This led him into the judicial system. He has read over 460 books on the subject. He has taught everyday folks along with lawyers and bankers who could not even imagine what they were a part of.
Because of his dedication he has helped hundreds of people learn how to protect and free themselves.
The Citizens Reform Center does not give legal advice and we are not lawyers, we are educators. If you come to us you will get an education we ask that you validate what we teach you to satisfy yourself that what we say is true. But the next step is entirely up to you. You must choose between action and inaction. Education, Validation and Emancipation
Many of us have heard that the truth will set you free. But I personally believe there is more to it than that. Just knowing the truth does not set you free, but knowing the truth frees you to act and in that action you become free.
In the coming weeks our point of discussion will be the creation of money and its consequences. Some of you know in general of the fraud, some of you are very well-versed in it. We hope to explain it in such a way that everyone can understand it and can explain it to someone else.
We will also pick points in the judicial system. Points that are sometimes forgotten because of their simplicity. But it is that very simplicity that makes them work.
We also invite you to the Citizens Reform Center’s open Wednesday night call.
This call is open to everyone. It is at 8 p.m. Eastern time to call in number is 712-432-8773 pin code is 947975#. On this call it we discuss general topics and give news of what is happening in CRC. Your host for that call is Howard Griswold, a long time friend of CRC.
We also urge you to visit our website often as we are adding to it constantly so please stop back often. It is there that you can keep track of our progress with our upcoming webcast. This is something we are very excited about as it will be teaching the method our members have used in court and won.
We at CRC are thrilled that 20 of our members have won their court cases as pro se’s in the last few month’s. This puts us at 20 to 0. We will be putting out those wins shortly on the website with their testimonies. With this upcoming webcast we are excited and looking forward to sharing how it was done. We believe that what we have learned can be used in any type of case and in any court of law. And, oh by the way, if your thinking that 20 is not very many people we don’t count keeping people out of court as specific wins even though we still feel good about it..
So take a sheet of paper or notebook and write down the point you will be pondering in the next hour, for the next week, the next month and the next year. Your major vision, your ultimate goal in whatever battle or challenge you are taking on. Focus in on that point. Find a mentor or group who has the same focus. Take action…be realistic… don’t take on more then you can handle… but you do need to take action.
Next week we will start pondering points on the Banking System’s open deception which has been the best kept secret from Americans. An oxymoron? Maybe yes maybe no.
Join us and see.
Thank you for joining us. We hope that you find your point to ponder this week and that you’ll join us next week as we ponder ours.
